Pond
One summer day, beneath the sun’s fierce blaze, I ambled on a heath to just beyond Where wild horses often roam and graze And stood for long beside a placid pond.
Night Sea
Still water, murky black with oil-like gloss Swells slowly, ebbs. Some ripples from the breeze Emboss faint patterns, spread, and glide across A bay to where the land endures the seas.
